Maison des Templiers is surrounded by stunning villages, many unlike anything else found anywhere in the world. The village of Roussillon is a wonderful example of this, with its ocre-red houses and narrow medieval streets. It is perched upon jagged cliffs of ochre with deep green pine forest below. Well worth a visit!
